Welcome!

The Kenosha Writers’ Guild is a free group, open to anyone with an interest in writing. Some of our members are published, some hope to be published and some write simply because they enjoy doing so.

We meet on the second and third Thursday of every month, on the Carthage College Campus. We hope you’ll join us!

In addition, we host a free workshop, in-depth critique, panel discussion, or guest speaker on the second Thursday of each month. If you’re interested in joining, stop by a meeting to see what we’re all about.

Join us at 6:30 p.m. on May 9th, 2013 at Carthage College (Kenosha) for our in-depth critique.
Main Thursday Meetings

Join us at 6:30 p.m. on May 16, 2013 for our main meeting, held in room 111 of the Stratz Center building at Carthage College (Kenosha).
Radio Show Deadline and Recording Date

The monthly deadline for radio show submissions is the third Wednesday of the month. Authors will be notified of their selections by email by Thursday. The recording date will typically be that Friday, 3:30 PM, at Gateway. If your submission is selected and you cannot make the recording date, you may have someone else read it. For submission guidelines, please see our link above. Please check our Facebook page or ask to be added to our mailing list for specific details. We do ask that you attend at least one meeting before submitting work.
